Chattel Houses is a unique website that introduces you to the traditional Caribbean tiny house – the creative and ingenious chattel house. There has been a burst in the popularity of tiny homes and it’s taking the world by storm. But in the Caribbean, we’ve been living and loving tiny homes known as chattel houses for centuries.
Our aim is to celebrate the existence of chattel houses and feature as much information as we can about the chattel house, its history and its future. The chattel house is a wonderful representation of Caribbean architecture and we want to introduce the world to our way of life. We have some wonderful projects planned which will be launched in the near future.
